Canada Goose in Water

This painting was made from a photograph taken by my friend. I was immediately drawn to the serenity of the scene, and to the very cool reflections in the water. I enjoyed trying to represent them without adding any pressure to make them look shiny. This painting helped me to learn the importance of trusting my perception rather than trying to ‘create’ a certain effect.
