Gondola in Venice

This painting was made from a photograph I took in Venice. I was standing on a bridge, and I saw these people riding very peacefully on a gondola, with lots of interesting reflections in the water. I also really liked the orange-peach colours of the surrounding buildings, with so many opportunities to add interesting detail to the painting.
