Tour Guide with Woman
About
This painting was made from a photograph I took of our tour guide in Rome in 2023. We were near the famous Colosseum while he was explaining something to one of the women on our tour. I was completely engaged with his shirt when I made the painting, and I noticed how engaged she was with what he was saying. I also enjoyed the challenge of representing his strong hands.
