Two Men Sitting in a Rome Café

I based this painting on a photograph I took in Rome. There is a small strip of restaurants which are both indoor and outdoor in a kosher section of the city. In fact, this section of the city is often called the Jewish ghetto. I liked the colours, and the man who seemed to be holding air in his cheek as he turned around. I wondered to myself, why is he doing that and at what is he turning around to look?
