Sheep Grazing on Hill

This painting was made from a friend’s photograph, and it was during a time when I was learning how to use light to create depth and interest. I also appreciated the importance of perspective in painting sheep close by and far in the distance. I was beginning to understand the importance of varying the levels of detail and sharpness in creating depth.
