Street Through Open Window

This painting was made from a photograph taken by my friend. I found the composition so interesting, and I was drawn to the young boy seemingly staring at the camera as it took the shot. I also found it very instructive in creating depth and texture, using detail and sharpness to enhance the distance between the window and the figures beyond.
