Woman with Guitar on Balcony

This painting was a Commission piece of a close friend of mine, and one with whom I often play guitar. She had this photograph taken by a friend of hers and asked me to paint it for her. I loved the pattern of shadows on the guitar, and the very unusual angle of the photograph. I particularly enjoyed trying to capture the details on her hand and on the guitar. This painting is hanging in her home.
